John asked me to help him with a Sandlot renovation of his 1920s house after he accompanied the Texas Playboys Baseball Club on a trip to the Rural Studio.
So we worked on his house Together, in Phases, allowing the design process to be guided by what we discovered in the Process. When we removed the damaged drywall, we uncovered beautiful heart pine siding on the walls and ceiling. That hidden wood became the driver of the rest of the design.Â
