Last year around Christmas, I stumbled across a load of beautiful vintage military targets -

I was drawn to the color and texture of the paper,

and the haunting black figure at varying scales (for shooting

a various distances) .

I began to collage with them and did a series of 7 collages

while “on a Design Build Adventure” … (West Texas)

that became the anchors of the body of work which I presented

this year at the East Austin Studio Tour (#51 The Barn)

printed Targets 005 and 006, which are still available ($50.00 each) .
